First Day: Brigshaw

Today was our first day of the creative and media diploma.
First period was with Mr Truscott, being the first lesson, we gave Jack, the only Temple Moor student a tour of the school and recorded it on a flip cam.  After that, we tried to tune ukuleles!!
Second, we had I.C.T with Mr Roma, we were researching different Arts events going on in Leeds and putting them on a data base.  We then plotted on a map, roughly where all these events take place.
Third and Fourth was Drama with Miss Woffinden.  We partnered up and had to tell each other about all the Arts activities we had done previously.  Then, we recorded the information and planned an interview to show each other in class.  We learnt about interview techniques such as active listening which is where you acknowledge the other person speaking when you might not agree with their opinion or think their lifestyle is strange.  We did our first draft of the interviews and discovered that outside, the wind is very loud through the flip cams.  We'll bear that in mind for our second drafts!
Last, we had I.C.T again and finished the research we had stared in second Period!!
There are only 11 people in the group so I think it's going to be really good!!
